今(29)日台灣花園城市協會於國際NGO中心共享空間舉辦「2018霧峰文化綠廊系列課程-英國花園城市歷史與經驗談起」，由今人觀建築設計工作室郭大齊老師引領大家一同見證光復新村城鎮發展的歷史軌跡。回首過去光復新村之興建仿效英國Garden City,這場追根溯源的歷史饗宴，讓大家對於所在的這塊土地有了更深一層的認識與了解。
▌Today and 台灣花園城市協會 hold the 2018「霧峰文化綠廊系列課程-英國花園城市歷史與經驗談起」in the INGO center’s sharing room. Kuo, Ta-Chi, a teacher in 人觀建築設計工作室 , leads the audiences to witness the history and development of Guan-Fu village. The audiences also get a chance to retrospect the history and development of the Guan-Fu village, which had mimicked the construction of Garden City in England. This retrospective event provides a great opportunity for people to understand our local place.
有了尋根、有著溫度，充滿人文氣息，放眼光復新村的未來，國際NGO中心專案辦公室吳怡萍督導也藉這個場合向大家介紹國際NGO中心。未來，國際NGO中心將賦予光復新村新生命，它不只是一個記憶點，還是NGO交流平台，讓國際看見在地，讓台中鏈結世界。
▌Consisted of historical rooting, connected hospitality, and cultural atmosphere, Guan-Fu village present a bright future. Meanwhile, in this special occasion, Wu, Yi-Ping, the supervisor of the INGO project office, introduces INGO center to everyone. In the future, INGO center will liven up the Guan-Fu Village, transforming the place into a NGO exchange platform. We wish to let the world recognize Taiwan and connect Taichung to the world.
