民眾可以透過8項大型互動闖關體驗，了解我國如何協助友邦尼加拉瓜、宏都拉斯與薩爾瓦多執行「中美洲地理資訊系統（GIS）應用能力提升計畫」，進行國土管理、天然災害監測等作業。

“INGO Center fully supports girls!”
2018亞洲魔法少女電力營（2018 Asian Girls Power Camp）邀請40名國內外女孩，在霧峰INGO中心舉辦4天3夜營隊活動。
8/17(五)特別舉辦開營記者會，除邀請亞洲女孩人權獎得主兩位尼泊爾女孩Bipana Sharma、Zolzaya Ganboldj、勵馨Formosa女兒獎臺灣女孩林苡萱、方思穎外，臺中的大家長林佳龍市長也將蒞臨出席。
此次由臺中INGO中心與勵馨基金會共同主辦。營隊宗旨希望透過營造友善的氣氛，讓女孩體驗並辨識「性別」對本身的限制與影響，在破除刻板觀念之餘，期待女孩發覺、展現自己潛在的力量，追求自己的夢想。INGO中心期待女孩們未來的發展，希望她們都能活出自己的精采人生！
為了響應2006諾貝爾和平獎主－穆罕默德·尤納斯博士（Dr. Muhammad Yunus）的號召，台灣的蔡慧玲律師與王絹閔執行長成立了社團法人臺灣尤努斯基金會，由108位「先鋒天使」共同創會成立基金會，經由尤努斯博士親自授權後，於2015年5月25日正式完成設立，也是全球唯一以尤努斯博士本人之名成立的基金會。
秉持把「貧窮送進博物館」的理念，利用格萊珉銀行等小額貸款的方式，幫助社會底層擁有改善自身生活的力量。基金會將引進孟加拉尤努斯中心知識、經驗、技術等致力於在台灣成立格萊珉銀行及推動社會型企業，也會在台灣推動尤努斯博士正於全球推動的三零政策：零貧窮、零失業、零淨碳排放。

今(29)日台灣花園城市協會於國際NGO中心共享空間舉辦「2018霧峰文化綠廊系列課程-英國花園城市歷史與經驗談起」，由今人觀建築設計工作室郭大齊老師引領大家一同見證光復新村城鎮發展的歷史軌跡。回首過去光復新村之興建仿效英國Garden City,這場追根溯源的歷史饗宴，讓大家對於所在的這塊土地有了更深一層的認識與了解。
▌Today and 台灣花園城市協會 hold the 2018「霧峰文化綠廊系列課程-英國花園城市歷史與經驗談起」in the INGO center’s sharing room. Kuo, Ta-Chi, a teacher in 人觀建築設計工作室 , leads the audiences to witness the history and development of Guan-Fu village. The audiences also get a chance to retrospect the history and development of the Guan-Fu village, which had mimicked the construction of Garden City in England. This retrospective event provides a great opportunity for people to understand our local place.
有了尋根、有著溫度，充滿人文氣息，放眼光復新村的未來，國際NGO中心專案辦公室吳怡萍督導也藉這個場合向大家介紹國際NGO中心。未來，國際NGO中心將賦予光復新村新生命，它不只是一個記憶點，還是NGO交流平台，讓國際看見在地，讓台中鏈結世界。
▌Consisted of historical rooting, connected hospitality, and cultural atmosphere, Guan-Fu village present a bright future. Meanwhile, in this special occasion, Wu, Yi-Ping, the supervisor of the INGO project office, introduces INGO center to everyone. In the future, INGO center will liven up the Guan-Fu Village, transforming the place into a NGO exchange platform. We wish to let the world recognize Taiwan and connect Taichung to the world.

▌INGO Center is full of energy today!
來自香港、新加坡、印尼、印度、泰國等東南亞國家共66位參加亞洲大學Summer Program的國際學生，於今(19)周四參訪INGO中心，讓光復新村充滿活力與熱鬧的氣息。
▌Students from Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia, India, and Thailand, who attend the Asia University Summer Program, visited INGO center on July 19th. Today, their liveliness can be traced throughout the whole Guang-Fu village.
來自印尼的學生Nana對INGO中心非常感興趣，表示回國之後會與其教授、同學分享此次行程成果，並期待未來可以再回到INGO中心！
▌Nana, a student from India, expressed her interest in the INGO center. She said that she will share the experiences in Taiwan with her professors and friends. She anticipates coming back to the INGO center in the future.
此次參與Summer Program的學生皆來自世界排名前百大學：如印尼的UMY、Airlangga University(排名印尼前十名)、印度馬德拉斯、新加坡南洋理工大學及香港中文大學。這群優秀的學生們此次訪臺除學習社會責任(CSR)、學習台灣公民社會發展的現況外，同學對臺中這座城市也留下美好印象。
▌Students who attend this summer program are all from World Top 100 universities, such as Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, Airlangga University (ranked top 10 in India), University of Madras, Nanyang Technological University, and The Chinese University of Hong Kong. The main purposes for these outstanding students to visit Taiwan are to learn corporate social responsibilities and Taiwan’s development of the civil society. Moreover, these students have opportunities to go around Taichung and visit some well-known places. Indeed, they will have a good impression of Taichung city.
INGO中心期待這些莘莘學子們能將中心的使命與目標傳達出去，幫助INGO中心連結更多的人事物，為未來臺灣與東南亞國家更多元、頻繁的互動播下種子。
▌The INGO Center hopes that these young, amazing teenagers can share the center’s mission and goals to more people and help the center to connect with more people, places, and things. By doing so, they help to plant the seed for the future development and cooperation of Taiwan and Southeast Asia.
【Link Taichung to the World：世界臺灣商會聯合總會走訪國際NGO中心】
▌Link Taichung to the World: World Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce (WTCC) visited INGO center.
昨(17)日世界臺灣商會聯合總會總會長林貴香、監事長許明芳、副總會長劉美姬、及秘書長林鋕銘來訪國際NGO中心，聽取專案辦公室的簡報外，還品嘗園區青年做的冰品與愛玉，讚聲連連！實地走訪，總會長一行返回市府拜會張光瑤副市長。
▌President of the WTCC, Kico Lin, Chief Supervisor of the WTCC, Aki Hsu, Vice President of the WTCC, Diana M.C, Jost-Liu, and Secretary General of WTCC, John Lin, came to INGO center on July 17th. They not only listened to the presentation of the INGO Center but also tasted aiyu jelly and shaved ice made by the young entrepreneur in the village.
Later on, they headed back to the Taichung City Hall to meet the deputy Mayor, Mr. Chang.
臺中市政府國際事務委員會董思齊執行長對世界臺商總會的到來歡迎表示，發展國際NGO中心是讓臺中邁向國際化城市的重要基石。此外，發展國際NGO中心也提供青年大量就業機會；以美國舉例，NGO已是美國第二大的就業市場。
▌The Executive Director of Taichung City Government International Affairs Commission, Sy-Chi, Doong, welcomed WTCC for coming to the INGO center. He believed that developing the INGO center is a cornerstone for Taichung to become an international city. Moreover, the establishment of the INGO center can also increase employment opportunities for young adults. For example, in the United States, NGOs have become the second largest employment market.
對於NGO領域，世界臺灣商會聯合總會亦是十分熟悉。聯合總會於2009年於紐約成立 STUF United Fund 世台聯合基金會，主要關注議題為人道救援、教育、公共醫療、及環境保育等。基金會透過與NGO、NPO、政府部門合作，希望創造永續改變(Sustainable changes)，讓世界更美好。現基金會的慈善項目足跡已遍布五大洲、25個國家；相信今後的為善之旅將繼續下去。
▌WTCC is particularly familiar with the field and function of NGO. In 2009, WTCC established STUF United Fund in New York City. It mainly focuses on the issue of humanitarian, education, public health, and environmental protection. The foundation connected NGOs, NPOS and the government hoping to achieve sustainable changes of making the world matter. Today, the foundation already spread out to five different continents and 25 countries. With kindness, STUF wished to continue to reach for more people who are in need.

▌World Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce held its annual meeting in Taichung for two consecutive years, which evidences Taichung’s rising influence on the international stage. INGO center will continue to devote in Taichung and let the world recognize Taichung.

▌Japan Bousaisi Organization visited INGO Center: Deepen the Interaction with Taichung City in terms of Disaster Precautious
今(17)日本防災士全國總會理事長浦野修一行五人來訪臺中國際NGO中心，聽取中心簡報及實地走訪，對於INGO中心留下深刻的印象，未來將有更多國際連結活動。
▌Today Chairman of Japan Bousaisi Organization, 浦野修, and his crew visited INGO Center. After they listened to the oral presentation of the introduction of INGO Center, they had a walk around it, saying they would love to have more international events with Taichung, Taiwan.
臺中國際NGO中心在規劃之初，即以「災害人道救援」、「民主人權」、「永續發展」、「公衛醫療」及「社會福利」等五大領域為主要目標。光復新村因曾為九二一地震區，且鄰近九二一地震園區，非常適合當做災害人道救援組織的訓練基地。而日本之地理位置及自然環境與臺灣有許多相似之處，亦同屬人口稠密但天然災害頻繁發生之地區，日本的城市災害防救體系，特別是市民社會所發起的「防災士」制度，有值得臺中市參考借鑑之處。
▌Initially, INGO Center focuses on the following five topics: “Humanitarian Disaster Relief”, “Democracy and Human Right”, “Sustainable Development”, “Public Health Advancement and Medical Service”, and “Social Welfare”. Because Guang-Fu Village is next to 921 Earthquake Park, it is a great location for disaster relief drill and training. Regarding geographic location and environment, Japan and Taiwan have many similarities. We are both high-populated yet frequently stricken by natural disasters. Japan’s Bousaisi Disaster Relief System founded by ordinary citizens is a great example for Taichung City to reflect on.
浦野修理事長表示「在救災援助的層面上，我們不單單只需要政府的力量；民間的力量也相當重要的。如何讓民間救助力量更加茁壯，希望未來能與臺灣有更多人道救援經驗交流，互助成長。」
▌浦野修, the Chairman of Japan Bousaisi Organization, said, “ When it comes to disaster relief, not only do we need the authority of the government, but also the strength of the society. How to strengthen the emergency skills of the ordinary is a key issue. We anticipate that in the future, more interaction and experiences sharing between Taiwan and Japan can benefit the two countries.
日本防災士總會於2002年成立，為日本最大救難型NGO。組織培養之防災士，平時皆在自身工作崗位上，一旦危機發生立即緊急出動。組織推動的精神很重要的觀念認為，當災難來臨時，受災民眾能夠先發揮「自助」與「共助」的緊急應變，以等待政府部門「公助」力量的到來。
INGO中心期盼今日的參訪，將是串起未來連結的起點，災害人道救援議題的交流，會持續在INGO中心捲動著。
▌Japan Bousaisi Organization was founded in 2002, the biggest disaster relief NGO in Japan. Usually, Bousaisi, people equipping professional disaster relief knowledge and skills, have their own career. When a natural disaster occurs, they will be dispatched immediately. The core value of theirs is to have citizens to “self-help” and “help-others” while waiting for the aid of the government. INGO Center hopes that today's visiting is the commencement of the sharing of Japan and Taiwan.

臺中市長林佳龍今（12）日出席「INGO 中心國際顧問頒證儀式暨國際自由婦女聯盟亞太總部宣布設立記者會」，除頒贈國際顧問證書與紀念獎座給國際自由聯盟主席Dr.Juli Minoves-Triquell；同時也與與會貴賓共同簽署「國際自由婦女聯盟亞太總部宣布設立意向書」。
▌Lin, Chia-Lung, mayor of Taichung City, presented in the “International Certificate Ceremony of INGO Center and Press Conference for Launching Asia-Pacific Center of International Network of Liberal Woman” on July 12th. He not only presents the International Advisory Certification to Dr. Juli Minoves-Triquell, president of the Liberal International, but he also signs the Letter of Intent in regard to the establishment of the INLW Asia-Pacific Chapter in the INGO Center with Dr. Margaret de Vos van Steenwujk, the president of the International Network of Liberal Woman.
此活動除邀請國際自由聯盟主席Dr.Juli Minoves-Triquell、國際自由婦女聯盟（INLW）主席Margaret de Vos Van Steenwijk- Groeneveld二位外賓到訪，外交部主任祕書蔡明耀、文化部文化交流司司長吳紹開、外交部中部辦事處處長宋子正、無任所大使楊黃美幸以及立法委員林靜儀、羅致政也應邀出席活動。
「HeForShe ：Stand Together 」由聯合國婦女權能署發起以促進性別平等為宗旨的團結性活動。
▌“HeForShe: Stand Together” is a movement initiated by the United Nation Women for the purpose of advocating gender equality. It promotes men to actively speak up for gender inequality existed In the daily life, which directly expedites the development of the society.

She spoke up for the urgency and demand for gender equality in the society.
